About Cheek Implants

When injectable fillers and contouring makeup are no longer an effective way to augment your cheeks, we invite you to consult with Dr. Masoud Saman at Saman ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery for a cheek augmentation surgery. This is a longer-lasting cosmetic augmentation that can add gorgeous volume to your cheeks when they appear deflated, shapeless, and make you look years older than you are. Our board-certified otolaryngologist & head and neck surgeon, Dr. Saman can help you plan out a longer-lasting solution with cheek implants. With a tiny incision, a cheek implant can be placed on or below the cheekbones without a visible scar. During your private consultation, Dr. Saman can provide you with a variety of shapes and sizes of implants to help you achieve a younger, rejuvenated look.

Cheek implants are the most common facial implants. Dr. Saman offers these to residents of Dallas, Plano, TX and the surrounding Texas communities. He also serves as the Medical Director of Head and Neck Oncological and Reconstructive Surgery at the Medical Center of Plano.

Our Surgical Approach

Cheek implants include using implants or various injections to add volume to redefine the cheeks, specifically the cheekbone. The majority of facial implants by Dr. Saman can be placed through small incisions inside the mouth and therefore without placing any scars on your face. Patients achieve immediate results with quick recovery. All procedures are performed at the accredited and state-of-the-art surgical facilities in Plano with the care of board-certified anesthesiologists for highest safety and quality of care.

These specially formed solid implant materials are designed to enhance the structural appearance of your face. The complete understanding and analysis of the facial structure are required to ascertain the exact type and size of facial implants best suited for you. Whether your concern is a small chin, facial contour issues, or a weak jaw, facial plastic surgery and the use of facial implants, especially check implants, could help you achieve your cosmetic goals.

What to Expect

After cheek implant surgery, you will recover at home. You may feel some mild to moderate discomfort, but should be able to manage the pain with over the counter pain medication. A numbness, tightness, or a pulling sensation may also be felt at the incision point and/or the implant itself. It may take 3 – 4 weeks for your face to adjust to the new implant before it begins to feel normal. Dr. Saman's staff will schedule a follow-up appointment with you within the week after your implant surgery to check your progress and signs for implant rejection (rare).
